Intel® Server Chassis SR1500 is a performance 1U rack-mount chassis. Feature set supports the high-density server market with: improved serviceability, accessory kits allowing for configuration options and Intel® Cable Reduction Technology that simplifies server infrastructure by eliminating cables to support up to three hot-swappable SAS (Serial Attach-SCSI) or SATA (Serial ATA) hard drives and one slim-line optical device.

 The Intel® Server Chassis SR1500 building block contains chassis, fans, power supply, ducting, cables, slim line optical drive tray, and low profile riser, Bridge Board, 3 hard drive carriers, rack handles. It DOES NOT come with backplane, control panel, Full Height Riser, or rails/brackets.
Compatible Motherboards / CPU
Specifically designed and validated for the following Intel® Server Boards: S5000PAL using Xeon 5000/5100 processor sequence with Active/1U passive heatsinks.
Required Build Components
You must purchase one backplane, one controller panel, and one riser (if you are going to add any expansion cards), and one mounting options (rack bracket or rails) to install in rack.
