Processor Support |

All
SC5299 cases will require you to purchase a Xeon processor that includes
and ACTIVE HEATSINK (this means the heatsink has a fan attached). You can tell when ordering the CPU by looking at the Intel Part
Number, it will end in "A" (example - BX805555030A). Third
party Xeon LGA771 active heatsink may also be used but not guaranteed. |

(fits in unused 5.25" drive bay) . Does NOT require IMM (Intel
Management Module) when used with
Bensley platform because full BMC is integrated to server board. |

Floppy: All new Intel server board DO
NOT have a standard 34-pin floppy connector. Therefore to add floppy
drive you will need two parts:
- AXXUSBFLOPPY INTERNAL SLIM-LIM
FLOPPY KIT (includes drive) = SKU 50003
- AXXCDUSBFDBRK 5.25" slim-line
CD/DVD/Floppy bracket KIT = SKU 49016
This will also allow you to add one SLIM
optical drive - for example SKU 50831 (AXXDVDROM). However any
brand slim optical drive is supported. |
