Intel "Fox Cove" Next Generation 4-Way XeonMP Platform Guide

The high-end enterprise four-way server platform space has a major new player with the launch of the "Fox Cove" servers that can support up to 16 processing cores per system. From mission critical enterprises to high performance computing needs the 4-Processor Intel® S7000FC4UR Servers deliver expansive processor, memory, and I/O capacity and bandwidth for virtualization; leading scalable performance; and proven enterprise-class dependability for consolidation. This new platform is overall more flexible while at the same time both simpler and lower cost to assemble due to many included features.
