Q: My CPU fan is loud and sometimes makes a grinding sound, how do I fix this?
A: Replacement CPU fans have been made available from the manufacturer to replace the few faulty fans that somehow made their way out into the channel. After contacting ASI Whitebox Notebook Support and obtaining your replacement fan, please follow the instructions below to replace the one in your MW1 Notebook.
 
Remove or loosen 5 back panel screws Remove 5 fan screws
Lift fan assembly from unit Unplug fan power connector
