NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES PROVIDED FOR IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LIABILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU FOR DAMAGES, FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE, OR FOR LOST DATA OR LOST SOFTWARE. LCD "Dead Pixel" Policy

·        During the LCD manufacturing process, it is not uncommon for one or more pixels to be fixed in an unchanging state. The visible result is a tiny fixed pixel that appears extremely bright or dark. There is no one clear industry standard regarding an acceptable level of dead pixels. Each LCD screen manufacturer and each laptop maker have their own dead pixel standards. Our notebook vendors allow for up to 5 dead pixels and the screen will be replaced if it has 6 or more during the Limited Warranty Period.

ASI's Warranty Repair Policy

·         During the Limited Warranty Period, any defective Product will be considered an ASI Corp. Warranty Repair.

·         ASI's Warranty Repair service consists of depot repair service at ASI's Fremont facility.

·         All returned notebooks must have an RMA number assigned by ASI prior to its shipping back.  Previous RMA numbers may not be reused.  Please call 1-888-888-4ASI to obtain an RMA number after talking to a technician.

·         All RMA products must be returned within 15 days of receipt of an RMA number, otherwise the RMA number will be voided and the package will be refused.

·         ASI Corp. reserves the right to inspect and test all merchandise.

·         No replacement or exchange if the returned merchandise has been tested and found that it meets manufacturer’s specifications and operates correctly.

·         No replacement or exchange if the returned merchandise falls within any of the exclusions from warranty coverage described above.

·         Any returned product tested that is not defective or does not belong to ASI will be returned to the customer.

·         Returned merchandise(s) should be in their original boxes, if possible, and packaged properly in another outside box with good packing materials. Due to vibration, Pelaspan (Styrofoam “peanuts”) is not a suitable packing material when used alone. The customer is responsible for improperly packaged notebooks which get damaged in transit.

·         The RMA number must be prominently displayed on the front of the shipping box.

·         All contents within the box must include a description of the problem.

·         ASI is not responsible for any damaged package shipped from the customer to ASI.

·         After receiving the RMA return, the purchaser must inspect the shipment immediately for any physical damage, which must be reported within 24 hours to ASI.

·         ASI reserves the right to modify the above terms and conditions at anytime without the consent of our customers.

·         After being received by ASI, out-of-warranty RMA returns will be shipped back to the customer within 30 days.  Some special items may take longer due to manufacturer shortage of stock.

·         Parts replaced or purchased as part of an out-of-warranty service have 3-month warranty from the date of the replacement.

·    Out-of-warranty repairs must be pre-approved and are subject to a minimum $50 labor Fee for evaluation.  Repairs will be billed at a $50 per hour labor fee plus parts.
