Remove all 16 F6 screws.
|
Remove all F3 screws (2 for
memory compartment and 1 for HD and 1 on the edge by the video connector).

Remove 2 F3 size screws for the
CDROM leaving the one in the top in place. |
Remove 2 screws (longer then F6)
on the back for the LCD Panel. |

Remove power switch panel by using a flat head
screw driver on the right side of panel. |
Remove the LCD panel buy pulling
straight up. |
Remove display panel power cable
by removing 1 (F3 size screw). |
Remove display panel power
cable. |

|
Remove Power buttons by removing
1 F3 screw. |
Remove the LED panel by removing
one long screw 2.5x15. |
Move the keyboard up and then to
remove the ribbon cable by moving retainer clips up. |
Remove 5 F3 screws on the silver
outer edge and 1 2.5x11 that is countersunk. |

Remove 2 2.5x11 screws and 1 2.5x6 screw. |
Remove ribbon cable |
Remove the power cable. |
Remove Heat pipe and lift top
cover off of the notebook. |

|
Remove circuit board that is over the mini PCI
slot. |
Install the wireless LAN in the
mini PCI slot. Replace the notebook cover
back and connect White wire to Main and
the black wire to AUX. Re-assemble the notebook. |
