Problem: 

Some Windows XP users experience the following warnings in the system event log:

Type: Warning
Source: ACPIEC
Category: None
Event ID: 3

Description: \Device\ACPIEC: The embedded controller (EC) hardware returned data when none was requested. This may indicate that the BIOS is incorrectly trying to access the EC without synchronizing with the OS. The data is being ignored.

Solution:

Please update the BIOS to version 123B.T01. (Note: This BIOS disable FN+F2 (hot-key) so uninstall Wireless Select Switch from Control Panel => Add/Removed Program and use the wireless hardware switch to enable and disable wireless and Bluetooth)
